About Your Shop
How would you describe your shop?
Our Walton shop is in the Heart Shopping Centre. It’s bright, airy and elegant, but above all, friendly. The Hampton Court shop is in Bridge Road, a Victorian shopping arcade near Hampton Court Palace. More like a boutique, it’s quirky and interesting with a silver fingerprint jewellery studio upstairs.

What makes you so special?
Something for everyone at every price point. We carry a lot of the major brands alongside some great jewellery designers. Our customers love the mix and the great customer service! Everyone who works with me at Hersey’s is amazing.
Are you easy to find?
We are opposite Waitrose in Walton and in Hampton Court we are in Bridge Road just over from the station.
What’s the best thing about your location?
In Hampton Court we are near the Palace and get quite a few tourists wandering over. Bridge Road is very quaint with lots of antique shops and cafés.
The Walton shop is in a busy shopping centre with most of the high street chains.

Where is the best place for a coffee nearby?
In Hampton Court, Five at the Bridge is fantastic with views of the Palace.
In Walton, Fleurs next door is a great café and artisan bakery.
Any other must see things in the area?
Hampton Court Palace, Bushy Park, a lovely place to walk among the deer and the Thames tow-path where there is always something to watch.
About the jewellery
What do you like/hate about Alex Monroe jewellery?
The intricacy of the pieces and attention to detail.
Do you have a favourite piece?
I’ve been wearing the silver Bumblebee for two years now and am still not tired of it. I have just treated myself to the gold Snake so I can alternate.

Are there any particular members of staff who know the collection best?
We are all fans, nearly all of us have a piece!
Any tips for customers?
Keep Jewellery in it’s box when not wearing it, away from the elements to stop it from tarnishing.
Any cute stories about the jewellery from customers?
Just had a lady buy a gold Bicycle for her sister who was doing a charity bike ride in India in aid of Cancer
What are your best sellers?
The Bumblebee, followed by the Feathers
Any tips for a bloke buying jewellery as a gift?
Bring one of her rings in to get the exact ring size.

Yes
Anything else you’d like to add?
The group photo is of all of us that work at Hersey, at my house. Ana, who is Brazilian cooked feijoada for us all, a Brazilian dish to which we drank copious amounts of caipirinha!
