We think they are really special, and we hope you agree!

A quick catch up from Alex

Tuesday, April 30th, 2013

It’s been a while since Alex has blogged so we’ve decided to share his picture diary from the past few days!

Alex was in a DIY mood and decided to put up our lovely new custom made wall cabinets!

Alex getting to work on our lovely new wall displays!

Our lovely new wall display

Sadly we had to say goodbye to our lovely Spanish cabinet however we do think these are just as lovely! What do you think?

After all that DIY’ing Alex and Denise headed to Planet of the Grapes for a wine tasting evening. Planet of the Grapes is a lovely bar /restaurant run by Katie’s (who helps with dispatch) husband, Matt.  Great wine accompanied by great food that left Alex very merry indeed.

We also have two special events coming up. ‘An Evening with Alex Monroe’. All details can be found here and can be purchased online here.

Till the next Alex adventure!

Goldcrest Fine Jewellery

Thursday, March 28th, 2013

Over the last few years, we have had more and more enquiries from customers who have wanted to extend their love of all things Alex Monroe into pieces of jewellery which they would truly wear forever, their engagement and wedding rings.

We now have a bespoke department and regularly make wonderful bespoke pieces for lovely customers who come and see us here at Snowsfields.

But what if you want a piece of solid gold Alex Monroe jewellery that isn’t bespoke?

This is where the idea for ‘Goldcrest‘ was born, our first major outing into fine jewellery.

Making existing designs in solid gold didn’t seem exciting enough….and the dramatic rises in the price of gold, would mean that even pieces in Alex’s delicate style would be incredibly expensive….so we decided to go even smaller, and came up with the ‘Teeny Tinies’ – recreating some of our most iconic pieces in miniature!

To give you an idea of scale, here is the gorgeous ‘Game of Thrones’ actress Emilia Clarke, wearing our Teeny Tiny Bumblebee:

And we now offer a selection of pretty wedding and engagement rings, which you can purchase ‘off the peg’ so to speak!  Made in Alex’s trademark detailed style, you can chose from sparkly diamonds, or gorgeous gemstones in mouth-watering sorbet colours ….

In addition to our website and the Alex Monroe Boutique, you can also view and purchase Goldcrest pieces in the following stockists:

BHLDN

Charles Fish, Canary Wharf, London

Ede & Ravenscroft, Chancery Lane, London

Fenwick, Bond Street, London

Fortnum & Mason, Piccadilly, London

Harrods, Knightsbridge, London

Liberty, Regent Street, London

Room Nine, Bonn, Germany

Silverado, Brighton

Sweet Pea, Primrose Hill, London

We LOVE Goldcrest and hope you will too.

PS: If you are getting married this year, watch this space, as we have some wedding events coming up very soon!

Competition Time!

Monday, December 17th, 2012

As a further promotion of our new fine jewellery range, Goldcrest, and of our exclusive Bespoke service, we are offering one lucky person the chance to win £1000 towards a bespoke commission, where you can design your own piece of Alex Monroe jewellery!

The competition is with Elle Uk, and you quite simply just need to click through below…..

You have until the end of the year to enter – Good Luck!

Love is in the Air!

Friday, December 14th, 2012

We are well and truly in the festive spirit here at AMHQ now, but we have reason to believe that a lot of you are feeling rather romantic out there….

Our gold-plated ‘I Love You’ spinner necklace was featured in December’s Elle, and now everyone has sold out!

But fear not, we have some here at our boutique and can take telephone orders, just give us a bell on:

Our 'I Love You' spinner in Elle's Christmas gift guide.

Additionally, the Fine Love Ring from our ‘Dream of Me’ collection was featured in Grazia and has sparked a frenzy of customers trying to track it down….

Sooooo pretty!

We do have stock of limited sizes, so again, give us a call and we’ll see if we can help out.

We have also struggled to keep up with demand for our Fine ‘Love’ Bracelet which is incredibly pretty worn on it’s own, or perfect for layering with other fine bracelets….

Fine 'Love' Bracelet.

Lastly, the Little Heart Ring again, from our ‘Dream of Me’ collection has also proved to be a big hit….

Little Heart Ring in a mix of Silver and Gold-Plate.

Net-A-Porter have it in an exclusive mix of Rose Gold and Silver, and it is available from us in Yellow Gold and Silver.

We make all of our rings to order, so as we are getting very close to Christmas now, time is of the essence! Please give us a call on 020 3117 0640 to see what we have in stock, or so that we can point you in the direction of your nearest stockist.

We hope that you receive your heart’s desire this Christmas…..!
