Recently Alex treated Susie and myself with a trip to the Chelsea Flower Show.
One of the many inspiring show gardens
We’re all very keen gardeners, so it was amazing to be there and experience all the gardens and flower displays after watching the coverage on television.
All of the gardens were impressive, but our favourite by far was the M&G show garden.
We loved the summer house and perfect pond
As we walked around, we all enjoyed a glass of Pimms. Whilst in the pavilion, Susie saved me from a fall into the roses at the David Austin stand. These are my favorite roses and I was just leaning over to smell them when I lost my balance. It had nothing to do with the Pimms!

This was one of the most popular stands. I just wish that fruit in the supermarket was displayed in this way.
Everyone seemed to love this stand
We really enjoyed ourselves and had a great day.
Wouldn’t it be fantastic if we could do our own Alex Monroe garden one day?!
