That time of year has come around again for our open studio sale over at Pullens Yards (our studio is located at number 9a Illife Yard). Our summer open studio sale saw people queuing outside before the we had even opened and we are pretty sure it will be super busy again! The studio will be open this Friday (30th Nov) from 6.30pm till 9pm, Saturday 1st December 11am – 6pm and Sunday 2nd December 11am till 6pm.
Now here’s the formal part:
We accept CASH and card (expect for AMEX). There will be only one card machine on site and it will be quite busy, so it maybe worth visiting a cash machine beforehand to avoid queuing!
We do not accept gift vouchers. All sales are none refundable.
If you cannot make the Pullens Yards open studio sale, fear not, we have another on the 8th December from 10am till 6pm at the Primrose Hill Designer Sale located at St Mary-the-Virgin, Elsworthy Rd, Primrose Hill, London, NW3 3DJ.
If you are looking for ideas of what to get up to over the next couple of weekends, how about a trip to Lewes or Brighton?
One of our favourite stockists, Silverado, are having some summer celebrations, which anyone who’s come along before will know that they do so well!
This Saturday, the 2nd July, Silverado’s in Lewes will be throwing open it’s doors. Lewes such a pretty little town, it’s well worth a visit, and you can click Viva Lewes to see what else is on.

I would also suggest you pop into Wickle who are a Lewes based company making gorgeous fragrances, and have their own ‘mini department store’ – so cute!
If you hang on a week, until Saturday the 9th of July, Silverado will be launching ‘Chrysanthemum’ at their Brighton store.
Whichever event you pick, the Silverado girls definitely know how to look after their customers, so there will be lots of Champagne and cupcakes, one-day discounts, and a raffle entry and goodie bag upon purchase. This means that anyone making an Alex Monroe purchase will be in with a chance of winning a Chrysanthemum Necklace!

You may have noticed that we are a bit quieter on the Trunk Show front this year…….and this is because we are just soooo busy! We would usually be heading down to Silverado for these events with some special Trunk Show pieces, but sadly this summer, our workload here at AMHQ just won’t allow it. We know that this is very disappointing for everyone, but because the Trunk Show pieces are all completely one-off, making them takes a lot longer than designs from our collections, as every aspect has to be carefully considered, and then put together.
As always, watch this space for future events and announcements, as we do plan to get back ‘on the road’ before Christmas!
One last thing, it’s the Pullens Yards open studios this weekend – we are based in Iliffe Yard, part of the estate. Again, because of our workload, we are not taking part, but why not come down to SE17 – there are lots of other designers and craftspeople to check out…..
Have a great weekend, whatever you decide to get up to!
