Hello All,

Just a quick note to let you know that we’ll be doing a FAB Trunk show at Little 15 in the city on Tueseday 9th February (just in time for Valentine’s Day). We’ll be there from 12 ’till 3, but the Special Exclusive pieces will be there all day. Jutta is in charge at Little 15 (we’re old friends and she’s always chatting on our blog), so whatever time of day, pop along if you can and say ‘Hi’. We all take time to put together these amazing one off pieces for our trunk shows, our on-line trunk show shop has been going really well, but there will be a whole new selection of pieces in Little 15! Just a quick note to let you all know about our latest web-site improvements.  We’ve just added a new collection page called *TRUNK SHOW!* As you’ve guessed, this page is dedicated to bringing our special one-off pieces to everyone!  Normally reserved for our Trunk Show events held at stockists throughout the UK and abroad, you can now purchase one-off pieces straight from our web-site.  How cool is that?!

Thanks to everyone who made it to our studio over the weekend - I hope you all found some nice things!

We’ve been so incredibly busy recently, trying to get as many orders sent and as quickly as possible - plus all of our events of course…..Our next Trunk Show stop is at Cerise, this Wednesday from 5-9pm.

Cerise is run by the lovely Maria, and is situated at number 94 Columbia Road.

We will be there with our exclusive Trunk Show pieces, for a really Christmassy evening of shopping.  Even if you’ve been to any of our other recent Trunk Shows, be sure to pop along as we made have brand new pieces especially for Cerise. Maria will also have lots of Alex Monroe classics in stock, so it’s the perfect opportunity to start / finish your Christmas shopping!

Our Trunk Show at Silverado last Saturday went really well, with lots of brand new one-off pieces being snapped up, and Christmas presents being bought.  We had a lovely email from Samantha Lee who chose her Christmas present and then won the prize draw piece - she said: “I haven’t stopped smiling since!”

So thank you to everyone involved who made the day such a success.

This week, from tomorrow until Saturday, we are at Liberty…..

We will have another, completely different selection of unique Alex Monroe pieces, and will also be unveiling of our exciting new collection “The Peacock and the Crow”. Here’s a sneak preview!

Well, we’re all absolutely green with envy at Alex’s exploits down under……but can’t wait to hear his latest news!

The nearest any of us are going to get to the beach will be in Brighton on Saturday, as we are having the first of our Christmas Trunk Shows at Silverado!
Suzy.A from our team will be on hand to guide you through our collections, as she heads down to the seaside for a day of festivities at Silverado’s lovely Bond Street store.

Silverado have a great selection of pieces in stock, plus of course, all of the one-offs.
There will be Champagne and cupcakes for everyone, and Silverado are also offering a very generous 15% off on all Alex Monroe purchases, so it’s the perfect chance to start your Christmas shopping.
Customers will also receive a super-sweet goodie bag, and be entered into a prize draw to win one of our Owl Arch Necklaces.

Would you believe it? I’m in Australia! And it’s blooming far away. Having spent a day or two on planes I’m rather tired, but have had a swim this morning, the sun is shining, and Nina is coming to pick me up any minute so I mustn’t write too long….. ooops. She’s here. Off to lunch. Back soon…

Just had a lovely drive round Melbourne, and Nina took me for lunch at the famous Stoke House on the beach. Delicious grub, sun shining, I’m definitely here.

Then off to visit a few of our stockists. Chambermaid, a Husk, and Syrup. Just trying to get my bearings. Melbourne is lovely, quite villagey, boutiquey. We ended up in Hampton with the gorgeous Kirsty at Syrup. She was lovely, the shop was lovely, quite destination, a little way out of town along the beach road. I love Melbourne!

Supper at Nina and Mac’s (Mac is a wine man so I’ve landed on my feet there!). Chargrilled fresh broad beans out of their pods with a bottle of rose, and delicious lamb and asparagus with one of Mac’s reds. Dee-lish-ous……

Back to my Kooky hotel for sleeeeeeeeeep.

If you’re stuck for something to do this weekend, why not head down to Brighton?

I’m not sure if there weather is going to be great, but we’re having a Trunk Show event at Silverado, and there’s always loads to see and do in Brighton!

Further details can be seen on my last post (just scroll down the page) but it’s all kicking off at 11am and running until 4pm - really hope you can make it!! x

Oh we do like to be beside the seaside.....

After our London Road-Show last week, we thought it was a bit unfair to leave out our fans down in Brighton….so this Saturday (the 20th) we will be at Silverado, in their Bond Street shop from 11am - 4pm.

Everyone at Silverado has really gone to town, so there are lots of treats in store!

Everyone who makes an Alex Monroe purchase will receive a gorgeous goodie bag, containing a £5 Silverado Voucher, a bath bomb from Lush and either some chocolates from Montezuma or a bag of delicious sweeties from Fizzy Wigs.

There will also be two raffles, one to win a Champneys goodie bag, with a treatment voucher inside, and another to win one of our must-have Clover Necklaces.

Refreshments will be provided in the form of Champagne and non-alcoholic Cocktails, along with strawberries and cream and home-made cupcakes!

And…..Silverado will also be offering an exclusive 10% discount on Alex Monroe purchases made in-store, on the day.

Yesterday was manic for us, rushing around, but myself and Alex enjoyed a great evening at EcOne on Ledbury Road….

Everyone at EcOne had worked really hard, and the shop looked lovely - delicate Rose petals and cute bunting, plus Champagne, chocolate covered strawberries and elderflower & cucumber spritzers - yum!

Today we’ve set up at Liberty, where we’ll be all weekend….Alex is on his way there even as I type!

The display looks great, there’s loads of classics in stock, and the new Lucky Charm story seems to be going down a storm - but most importantly, the Trunk Show pieces have been selling already, so get there quick and find your dream piece!

Well, there was no way we were going to let the tube strike stop us!

Our special Trunk Show pieces have been in-store at Harrods since this morning, and Alex and Susie will be there from around 5.30pm to have a chat and answer any of your questions.
