This episode we talk to Hazel, who among other talents is the founder of her own floral studio. Alex and Hazel discuss the serenity that can be found in spending time in the garden and surrounded by the natural world. Hazel shares her interest and importance in education, understanding the flowers she works with and the art in bringing the outside world indoors.

Gardiner by name gardener by nature! I first came across Hazel when I saw her on Gardeners World. Next I got a bit obsessed because I’m so awful at flower arranging and I’m a tiny bit jealous of how talented she is! Hazel is a real floral artist.

It was an absolute pleasure. Right from the moment we met Hazel was like a ray of sunshine with so much to chat about. I feel like we’re going to be great friends forever. Thanks Hazel. And now back to practice at that flower arranging, she’s inspired me!- Alex Monroe

They talk about the growing need for a connection with nature particularly in light of the past couple of years. Hazel shares her chosen pieces of jewellery from school time brooches to her statement earrings and the power jewellery holds to carry sentiment and change how you feel about yourself.

The episode celebrates the natural world, the strength in individually and being exactly who you are!
