Episode Twenty Two - Jodie Whittaker

Jodie is an old friend and a brilliant chatterbox so I knew this was going to be a fun podcast. And she didn’t let me down! We chatted away for far too long and I feel like we could have made at least three podcasts if we had the time. So much to catch up on; her amazing journey as the Doctor, fantastic pieces of jewellery, there’s even a bit of politics in there (sorry!). Anyway. It was fun for me. We are so excited to kick off Season 3 of ‘This is a Token’, in conversation with the wonderful and talented Jodie Whittaker. Alongside many brilliant productions, Jodie is perhaps most well known for being the fabulously kooky 13th Doctor in the BBC Doctor Who.

From a sneaky ruse that led to a cherished eternity ring, to what it meant for Jodie when she worked with us on her jewellery for the Doctor. Plus, how the two stories entwined when Jodie got into character and temporarily lost one her most precious pieces in a wardrobe!
