Delivery Information

In light of the current situation with regard to COVID-19, we wanted you to know that for the time being, it is still business as usual at Alex Monroe.  We are checking official guidelines daily, and are ensuring every precaution is put in place to maintain the health and wellbeing of our customers and staff.


We are still processing and shipping online orders, however our Web team operates entirely in house and like most, we are currently a little under-resourced.

Orders will still reach you, however, for the time being, we are only offering a Standard Delivery option. We'll be keeping this free for all UK orders and whilst we will do everything we can to dispatch your order as quickly as possible, please note that this may now take up to two weeks from the date of purchase.

International Orders will be sent as normal, but they may also take up to two weeks to be dispatched from the date of purchase. As it currently stands, we haven't experienced any problems with orders being delivered but this might change as countries update their guidelines.


We have extended our returns policy to 6 weeks from date of purchase and will be doing our absolute best to process returns as quickly and efficiently as we can. As always, our Customer Care team will be on hand to answer any queries you may have - you can contact them here.

International Orders

Whilst we are now able to ship to Mainland Europe again, please be aware that Royal Mail is expecting delays of up to 2 working days for delivery to some countries. This is constantly changing as local Covid-19 regulations are updated.

For all EU Customers:

Now the UK has left the EU, please note there has been a significant change in the way taxes are handled for our EU customers.

  • We will no longer charge VAT (UK tax at 20%) on your purchase.

  • Instead you will need to pay the relevant domestic VAT / tax rate, applicable customs, plus your local authority's handling charge when your item arrives.

  • Unfortunately we cannot offer guidance on what the domestic charge will be at this time, as it varies across the EU.

  • If you wish to order online from within the EU, a small selection of Alex Monroe jewellery is available from our stockist in The Netherlands, De Bijenkorf.

All deliveries are tracked.

UK Public Holidays will affect delivery dates. We are unable to deliver on a Bank Holiday.

Your jewellery will come carefully packaged in a branded jewellery gift box.


International Delivery

Delivery costs £10.00 per order. We use Royal Mail International Mail services.
Orders will be dispatched within 2 -3 working days, with estimated delivery times between 3-10 working days from the date of dispatch.

* Please note that delivery times are dependant on the stock availability of your item. Estimated delivery times will be shown clearly at the checkout. Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking details. 

Your parcel will need a signature on arrival, so unfortunately we cannot send to an unmanned PO BOX.

Australia, New Zealand, Netherlands and South Africa

When shipping to these countries we are now only able to do so via a courier service as Royal Mail are unable to guarantee safe delivery of your order.


How your order will arrive

Your order will be dispatched in an unbranded external envelope.

Jewellery is packaged in an Alex Monroe jewellery box, which is packaged in a protective external box.

All gift vouchers will be sent in a rigid envelope to help prevent damage whilst in transit.

Books will be sent in protective cardboard wrap packaging to help prevent damage whilst in transit.



All orders being dispatched to the EU are inclusive of VAT (20%).

Non EU orders are exclusive of VAT (20%). This is removed from your order at the checkout.
