Saturday 25th April 2026 from 10am - 4pm
Join us at our Jewellery School for a wonderful experience creating your own, unique Alex Monroe Loop Necklace.
Under the guidance of our team of expert jewellers and Alex himself, you will learn how to design and handcraft a loop necklace in our signature style from sterling silver, learning how to texture and solder metal, and work with wire and castings.
We will provide a selection of classic elements, carefully picked from Alex’s forty years of designing, using favourite nature inspired themes, from flowers and leaves to our much loved bees and birds!
By the end of the day, you will have a finished necklace to take home with you, or if you prefer gold, leave it with us, and we will post your newly Fairmined gold-plated piece out to you as soon as it is ready.
Located at our award winning production workshop in Bermondsey, we will start with a breakfast get-together, and stop to share a fresh and healthy lunch.
Whatever your experience level, we have space for 10 budding jewellers - and we do have to mention that tickets for our Jewellery School sessions make wonderfully thoughtful gifts!
You will receive both a digital and physical ticket, with additional information communicated nearer the time of the event.

I so enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere, extremely helpful and friendly staff, learning lots, creating something unique to take home and wear!
Being welcomed into the real workshop was a joy and the team were friendly and keen to help ideas become reality. The demonstrations at the beginning were so helpful and informative.
The whole day was excellent from the meet and greet to leaving the building. The experience of the team and their willingness to pass on such skills has been an emotional journey for me. So thank you each and everyone for today. I will return!
The team are all so lovely and fun to learn from. Amazing how much we did in 1 day! It was everything I hoped it would be and more!! What a wonderful way to spend a day - learning from such creatives!
What to Expect
