International Delivery

We are unable to deliver to PO Boxes, with the exception of Dubai where all delivery addresses must be to a manned PO Box.

EU orders:

Now the UK has left the EU, please note there has been a significant change in the way they handle taxes for our EU customers.

We do not charge VAT (UK tax at 20%) on your purchase, this will be automatically removed from your order at checkout once you have entered your shipping address.

You may be required to pay the relevant domestic sales tax rate, applicable customs, plus your local authority's handling charge when your item arrives. These charges are payable by the customer (where applicable) and we do not currently cover these costs.

How your order will arrive

Your order will be dispatched in an unbranded peel-and-seal brown mailing box.

Jewellery is packaged in an Alex Monroe branded jewellery box.

All gift vouchers will be sent in a rigid envelope to help prevent damage whilst in transit.

Books will be sent in protective cardboard wrap packaging to help prevent damage whilst in transit.

US Tariffs & Costs

From 29 August 2025, the United States ended its de minimis duty-free threshold (previously applied to orders under $800). This means all orders shipped from the UK are now subject to import duties. To keep things simple, we include the currently 10% duty within your shipping price.

Every Alex Monroe piece is handmade in England and dispatched with Royal Mail, then passed to USPS for final delivery. While duties are already covered, USPS may still collect local state sales tax before completing delivery.

Please note: the new rules have created extra administration for postal services, and some US deliveries may take a little longer than usual. We recommend allowing extra time when ordering for special occasions.
